The modern business environment represents a source of continuous stress for employees and there is a growing demand for solutions that would ensure the wellbeing of employees and the productivity and profitability of organisations. A mixed design study was conducted to test the efficiency of ShaeWellnessTM - a personalised health and wellness application based on epigenetics, implemented online in an organisational environment. Statistical analysis of the results before and after the program’s implementation showed that weight and BFI significantly reduced, as well as the risk of intestinal problems.

The qualitative analysis of employees’ testimonials showed that they felt more energised, and they reported higher levels of efficiency and productivity in their employed roles. The results are consistent with experimental and academic studies showing that employees’ health is a common denominator of job satisfaction and productivity across different cultures and industries. This study begins to shed light on how gradual health changes introduced by using ShaeWellnessTM is a viable solution for decreased employee productivity, morale, and the increased costs associated with these issues.
